In the premiere episode of The Kardashians season 4, Khloé opened up about her intense and rather amusing fear of whales while on vacation with her family in Mexico.
Khloé, 39, was visibly distressed upon realizing that whales were visible from their private residence. She shared her meltdown with her sister Kim Kardashian, admitting, “I am really freaking out. He said they come close to the shore… I feel like I’m going to cry.” As she saw the whales more clearly, her anxiety heightened. “Why is this whale season? What are they doing? Mating? That’s sick,” she exclaimed, continuing, “What in the f—k are the chances that we are here during mating season? This thing is so big you don’t see it coming.”
Despite Khloé’s terror, True found the whole situation to be a source of endless amusement. Khloé joked about her daughter’s playful teasing, saying, “My daughter bullies me. She draws me photos of whales just to f—k with me. She thinks it is so funny.” Clearly, True is enjoying every moment of her mother’s discomfort.

Khloé’s mother, Kris Jenner, expressed her confusion over the unusual phobia, admitting, “I can’t quite figure out where Khloé got this fear of whales. It had to have been somewhere in her childhood that I went really, really wrong somehow. Khloé’s discomfort with water extends even further when she remembers a surprising fact about blue whales. “A blue whale’s heart is as big as a baby yellow school bus,” she noted, humorously referencing a Snapple fact to highlight just how massive these creatures are.
