On Wednesday, Spotify experienced significant technical difficulties, leaving numerous users unable to access the music streaming service. Reports indicated that the outage began at approximately 6:20 AM EDT.
A spokesperson from Spotify confirmed, “As of 11:45 AM EDT, Spotify is back up and functioning normally.” Users were advised to check the Spotify Status account on X (formerly Twitter) for further updates.

By midday, the Spotify Status account announced, “All clear – thanks for your patience,” indicating that operations had returned to normal.
