This summer brings exciting news for fans of Bruce Springsteen, as he prepares to launch a collection of albums titled Tracks II: The Lost Albums. This compilation includes a remarkable selection of songs that have never been heard before, with a total of 82 tracks from seven full-length albums that span the years 1983 to 2018.
What’s Included in the Collection
According to an announcement on Springsteen’s official website, this album collection will feature:
- 82 unreleased tracks.
- 74 songs that are entirely new to listeners.
- Seven complete albums that were previously unissued.
Springsteen commented, “‘The Lost Albums’ were full records, some of them even to the point of being mixed and not released.” He further expressed his excitement about making this music available to his audience, stating, “I hope you enjoy them.”
Reflecting on the Past
In a promotional video released on YouTube, Springsteen elaborated on his creative process during what was often perceived as a quieter time in his career. He noted, “I often read about myself in the ’90s as having some ‘lost’ period or something. And really, I was working the whole time.” He also mentioned that during the pandemic, he utilized time to finalize the content housed in his vault.
