Lander Chiropractic: Where Every Patient Feels Like Family

Chiropractic care in Brea designed for every stage of life, from newborns to seniors, with personalized attention at its core.
The first thing many people notice when they walk into Lander Chiropractic is not the décor, the treatment tables, or the advanced equipment—it is the way they are greeted. The front desk knows names, remembers conversations, and makes a point to connect with each person who comes through the door. Patients often say it feels more like visiting a trusted neighbor than a medical office.
This atmosphere is intentional. For Dr. Anastasia and Dr. James Lander, chiropractic care has always been about more than adjustments. It is about listening, understanding, and creating a lasting connection that supports health across the years.
A Personal Story That Shaped a Mission
Dr. Anastasia’s journey into chiropractic care began far from the world of health and wellness. While working in the demanding environment of Wall Street, she faced a deeply personal challenge—her young daughter’s ongoing health struggles. After exploring multiple solutions with limited success, she turned to chiropractic care. The improvement was significant and undeniable, sparking not only relief but also a new sense of purpose.
That experience became a turning point. Motivated by what she had witnessed, Dr. Anastasia left her finance career to study chiropractic medicine. Her vision was clear from the start: to help others experience the same benefits that had transformed her daughter’s life.
Around the same time, Dr. James was building on his background in exercise physiology and his experience as an elite runner. His focus was on optimizing performance, recovery, and overall physical health. Together, they opened Lander Chiropractic with a shared belief that true care comes from treating the whole person, not just the symptoms.
Care for Every Stage of Life
From its earliest days, Lander Chiropractic was designed to serve people of all ages and activity levels. Newborns receive gentle adjustments to support healthy development. Expectant mothers find relief from the discomforts of pregnancy and preparation for smoother deliveries. Athletes use targeted treatments to recover faster and prevent injuries, while older adults work on improving mobility and maintaining independence.
The range of services reflects this inclusive philosophy. Patients have access to chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture, Graston technique, craniosacral therapy, dynamic body balancing, active muscle release, and cupping therapy. Each treatment plan is personalized, ensuring that care is tailored to the individual’s specific needs and goals.
Five Practitioners, One Unified Approach
Over time, the practice grew to include two additional chiropractors: Dr. Hailey Danko and Dr. Courtney Dean as well as an acupuncturist, Mike Worley..
Dr. Hailey’s connection to the practice is deeply personal—she began as a patient. Years of positive experiences inspired her to pursue chiropractic medicine, and she returned to Lander Chiropractic as a doctor to provide the same kind of care that once helped her.
Dr. Courtney brought her own strengths and a strong commitment to community health, further enriching the team’s collaborative approach.
Our office is also proud to offer acupuncture. Mike Worley, our licensed acupuncturist, has been a trusted friend of the Landers since their days together at Southern California University of Health Sciences more than 20 years ago. For over a decade, he has been serving our patients at Lander Chiropractic with his expertise and compassionate care.
While each doctor brings a unique perspective and skill set, they share the same core philosophy: spend time with patients, listen to their stories, and build trust through consistent, attentive care.
A True Community Within the Practice
Healthcare can sometimes feel rushed, with appointments that are over in minutes. Lander Chiropractic takes a different approach. Here, patients have time to share their concerns, ask questions, and be heard. The team places a strong emphasis on understanding both the physical and lifestyle factors affecting health.
This approach has led to long-term relationships. Many families have been with the practice for years, and it is common to see multiple generations receiving care side by side. Referrals come naturally, often through word-of-mouth from patients who feel genuinely cared for and supported.
“Most chiropractors spend less than five minutes with patients,” says Dr. Anastasia. “We listen. We learn what is going on in their lives, not just their bodies. That is how you help someone reach their health goals.”

Lasting Results, Not Quick Fixes
While pain relief is often the reason people first visit, the team at Lander Chiropractic focuses on long-term wellness. Education plays a big role, with doctors helping patients understand how to prevent recurring issues and maintain optimal health.
For Dr. James, the real value of chiropractic care goes beyond the adjustment itself. “An adjustment is the beginning,” he explains. “The real change comes from how you live afterward.”
Your Health, Your Journey
Whether you are managing an injury, navigating pregnancy, supporting a child’s development, or simply aiming to live without pain, Lander Chiropractic offers a place where care is personal and comprehensive. Patients can expect a welcoming environment, individualized treatment, and a team dedicated to helping them achieve their health goals.
