NFL Week 3 Produces Major Comebacks and Unusual Finishes Across the League

The Washington Commanders provided one of the weekend's biggest surprises by defeating the defending champion Seattle Seahawks 33-31. Quarterback Marcus Mariota threw three touchdown passes, while linebacker Kain Medrano returned an interception for a touchdown as Washington completed the victory.

The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 30-27 on a game-winning field goal from Chris Boswell, while the New York Giants defeated the Tennessee Titans 12-7 in a much lower-scoring contest.

The Denver Broncos also staged a comeback, defeating the Los Angeles Rams 30-26. The result added another example to a weekend in which several teams recovered from deficits rather than protecting early leads.

The Minnesota Vikings defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23-16, while the San Francisco 49ers held off the Arizona Cardinals 36-30 in another high-scoring contest.

The Baltimore Ravens also earned a narrow victory, defeating the Dallas Cowboys 34-31 on a last-second field goal in Brazil. The international game was among the weekend's most unusual settings and added another international chapter to the NFL's expanding schedule.
